I am a music-loving performer and instructor living in Philadelphia, PA. I have played trumpet principally for thirteen years, and I also play the drums, bass guitar, ukulele, and trombone. Since 2010 I have been a gigging musician, performing in venues such as The Bandshell (Central Park), World Cafe Live (Philadelphia and Wilmington), Dilworth Park, and the new FringeArts headquarters. My methods vary from student to student. I believe strongly in making sure students are learning what they want to learn and adapting to every students needs! While I will employ different techniques with each student, I do tend to use several concepts universally. I like to use a Kodly based system to teach all styles of music.
