I like to impart a holistic love of music in my students, without boring them with too much history or theory. While in New York, I am also participating as a freelancing teacher musician. During the summer months, I have been seen performing at the St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Windermere, FL. Here, I have played in a variety of settings, including frequent performances in traditional worship, a Summer pops orchestra series, and three musicals. My love for teaching began as a peer tutor in college. I tutored students in piano, guitar, bass ear training, and music theory. I began to love teaching when I noticed the change and progress it creates within people. While in college, I taught at a musical theatre camp as a music teacher.
