As stated, I have taught students of all ages, from pre-K to adults. I first began teaching while I was in college and have taught ever since. While most of my career has been spent teaching privately in fine arts academies and in students' homes, for the past 7 years I have taught high school choir in Keller ISD. I have spent my entire life working the arts.  In high school I was a member of choir, band, theatre and jazz band. During my Air Force Years I attended the University of Maryland with my primary focus on musical theatre. Traveling the world and working with multiple theatre organizations has been an expirence that few can say they have done. We strive not to only teach vocal but theory as well to make a more marketable student so that they may be more prepared for the future. Read More

I teach always. I teach by example, and I teach formally. My formal teaching background begins in church when I was 19. I did my mom a favor and started teaching/leading the children's choir. It was fun, I enjoyed it thoroughly, and our 2 performances went GREAT! It gave me a taste for it so I became an actual teacher in the SMCISD school district as a Focus Teacher (Special Education). I have been teaching privately for 5 years, beginning while I was still in college. My students spanned every age from 3rd graders to HS seniors, and I taught them a mix of basic healthy technique and musical theory. My current students are active performers of musical theater in both public and scholastic venues. I am a music lover and I love to teach. I have a BA in Church Music as well as a MMus with a focus in vocal music. I have studied with many awesome vocal teachers across the United States, as well as participated in the Hawaii Performance Arts Festival where I played multiple roles and gained on stage experience. I also sing with the Hawaii Opera Theater chorus and have performed in 7-8 full professional operas. Read More
