My choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall two times, Disneyworld, New Orleans, State Capital, and many other locations winning UIL and other state, local and national competitions. As a singer I have performed with the Fort Worth Opera, in San Francisco, Germany, Austria and our Nation's Capital. My students have won UIL state and local competitions, piano competitions and many college scholarships. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University. I began teaching privately in 1985 on the Lubbock ISD Music Tutorial Program. I went into the schools and taught students privately during class hours. I taught Tuba and Baritone Horn. In 1989 I began teaching with Lubbock Parks and Recreation in the community centers. This was more generalized. I taught Band Instruments, Voice, Guitar, Music Theory, Beginner Piano, Beginner Strings. What I consider to be my crown achievement is hearing from parents who told me that the overall academic performance of their children had improved since they began taking lessons from me. Read More

I have spent my entire life working the arts.  In high school I was a member of choir, band, theatre and jazz band. During my Air Force Years I attended the University of Maryland with my primary focus on musical theatre. Traveling the world and working with multiple theatre organizations has been an expirence that few can say they have done. We strive not to only teach vocal but theory as well to make a more marketable student so that they may be more prepared for the future. Read More

I was always able to sing. I started piano in the 5th grade. I played trumpet in high school and made all state band 3 years in a row. I attended college at Houston Baptist University where I received a full scholarship to study music. Once I graduated I was immediately hired to do a national tour which was followed by 5 others. I perform on Broadway also. I was in 22 performances at Theater Under the Stars in Houston. Read More

From the moment I was able to make out what music was and how it works together, I have been in love with the concept and drive that it takes to develop and incorporate music in every day life. Whether it may be through a movie score, show, church, orchestral or choral piece each movement has their own distinct character.
