Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I received a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Voice and Music Theater from the University of Texas at Arlington, where I appeared in several productions such has Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Gianni Schicchi); Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma (Judd Fry) and South Pacific (Emile de Beque) and as Tevey in Fiddler on the Roof by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. I believe in practice and routine as a foundation to learning, but also improvisation and experimentation. I have always loved and appreciated music however, I did not gain my passion for music until I was shown its power and affect through the teaching of high school music educators. From then I pursued a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Texas Lutheran University and graduated the Fall of 2016. Some featured roles include portraying Phyllis in Gilbert Sullivans Iolanthe, Despina in Mozarts Cosi fan tutte, and Susanna in Mozarts Le Nozze di Figaro. In the spring of 2009, I was a featured soloist for Charpentier's Midnight Mass at the UTSA Masterwork Concert, and again in 2010 for Handel's Messiah. In 2013, I performed as the soprano soloist at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Haydn's 'Lord Nelson' Mass, Pergolesi's 'Stabat Mater', and Poulenc's 'Gloria'. Read More
