For standard piano lessons, Bastien and Faber methods are always a hit with both children and adults. For Saxophone lessons I use the "Standard of Excellence" book that most school bands use. I have also written a lesson book of my own that I use pages from. My musical journey started in preschool. At four I began playing the violin, at eight - the sh'vi (Armenian fipple flute), and at eleven - the saxophone. Studying these instruments became the means of my musical expression, shaping me into the musician that I am today and reflecting my upbringing, deeply rooted in traditional classical training, my Armenian heritage, and American jazz.
