I also perform regularly with Samba Lolo, a renowned World-beat/Afro-pop ensemble led by Mali native Boubacar Diabate. Recent venues include theAfrican Festivalin Lowell, MA and theNortheast Kingdom Music Festivalin Albany, VT among other clubs and festivals across the United States. In addition to these creative endeavors, I have recently been touring and recording with the renowned World fusion band Newpoli. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with the music theory basics which will always serve as a strong background to their music knowledge and overall muscle memory. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance.
