Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! It is important that each student progresses at their own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson, acknowledging accomplishments, fueling a students desire to progress, and finding ways to stimulate a students desire to learn more. I began teaching when I was 18. My piano teacher taught me how to teach and trained me. My favorite thing about teaching has always been that moment when a student finally “gets” something he/she has been working on. I also love the challenge of individualizing my lessons to fit each students interests and abilities.
