For every lesson I develop a lesson plan that organizes the lesson so there is no time wasted. As I get to know the student more, I develop a lesson plan specific to the student and work on the things that need work but as well as to keep the student motivated by performing and memorizing. Whenever I start with a new student, I'll have a talk to ideally set up goals and expectations (for example, if a student's goal is to feel like a competent songwriter, all of the lesson plans will be pointed towards best achieving that.) I received music scholarships to high school and college. I have had a lot of teaching experience in public and private schools. I am always well prepared, and patient with my students. I am a trumpet player, composer and educator. I grew up in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston, MA in 2012 where I attended Berklee College of Music for my undergraduate and graduate studies.
