I first started teaching when my piano teacher assigned me to be her assistant back in 2009, I provided her 7-28 year old students with singing lessons. As I proven myself to be an accomplished instructor I received a job as Choir Instructor at School of Music 'Vladimir Djordjevic', where I worked for 1 year before heading to Boston to start my studies at Berklee. In 2010 I started teaching private lessons part time in my home studio, where I conducted voice, piano, music theory, and solfeggio lessons to a total of 16 students, who showed incredible improvements over all 4 years that they stayed under my instruction. The meditative process is closely tied to quality of students’ practice. Practicing an instrument is about learning to acquire mental and physical control in order to gain mastery of difficult musical passages. This process exists at the core of any musical practice regardless of the age and proficiency of the student. It distinguishes the performance of music from the listening process. It is about learning to focus toward a goal while you meditate on the beauty of sounds. Read More

Not all students are created the same! I do my best to adjust my teaching style and lesson for each student. Especially for novice students, I adjust the pace in order for the student to ease into the instrument. Especially with piano, I advocate warming up and practicing effectively. In my opinion, it is best to work smarter and be efficient with practice time. It is important to me to not only have good technique and a fundamental knowledge of music theory, but to understand the who, what, where, when, how, and why in the music. Read More

Detailed information on finger numbers, music theory and ear training, works and the composers of the works are also covered at the necessary points during the course. The aim in my classes is to minimize the student's need for a teacher in the long run. Apart from these, by talking about the effects of musical elements on the person, we reach a clearer understanding about style and school choices. Since my education is fed from Russian and German schools, it is important to teach them as well. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice Violin Fiddle
I began teaching beginner piano when I was in middle school and caught the teaching bug! (My dad was a high school choir teacher for thirty-five years, so I must have caught it from him.) Now I teach violin/fiddle, voice and piano. I believe that learning classical music and sight reading are both fundamentals to begin learning any instrument. However, I love to teach other styles as well! I would love to work with budding musical theater performers who want to work on musicianship skills and/or learn piano/violin. Read More
