I am a trained professional music and piano teacher of people of all ages learning about music and the piano at all age levels. I went to West Chester State University for Music history accreditation and piano performance. Teaching music and the piano is one joy of my life ,that brings great satisfaction to me as i see my students grow in their musical concepts. it also is gratifying to see my student grow from one level of piano playing to the next level. I have created my own system of teaching piano that uses the Thompsons piano learning books ,plus other specialized tools of my own creation in teaching piano that achieves wonderful results in a reasonable amount of time.
My teaching experience dates back to my university days at West Chester U. I have been a professional entertainer, organist, pianist and musician for over 45 years. I have taught 100 s of students in those many years, in several states such as New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey .I have also worked in an advisory capacity role for such as piano, keyboard companies as Baldwin, Yamaha, Roland, and Korg USA. Also I have been for 8 years lead pianist keyboardist arranger at my church in Old bridge New Jersey
For Beginning students like children I use the Thompson early beginners books, and for more mature beginners I use The Thompson beginners books for adults. I engage the students in lively conversations about music, I usually engage the students in conversations how school or work is going, and then relate these conversations to their practice at home time. I teach my students also the right way to practice music, learn music ,relax and enjoy making music. I also record each lesson for critical practice time at home. Plus I supply a cd or MP 3 to clients e mail of my music and other artists monthly for musical learning and enrichment.
One of my greatest joys in life is seeing my students develope a passion for music and learning to play the piano. I like to make learning the piano fun and exciting for all . I believe that learning piano is a gift from God, and its my joy to bring that gift out in people. I have created my new profile music education system that is specifically tailored to each students needs and level of proficiency. Each teaching session is planned out in advance for each and every student to achieve the best possible results for each student.
