I would best describe my teaching style as "Learn how to have fun playing music, simply." I am thankful for being blessed with an ability to hear how my student plays and quickly and accurately prescribe a simple fix to get over hurdles. Sometimes all it takes is looking at things a different way to realize something and clear up confusion. Just like in life, sometimes with music all it takes is your teacher saying something a different way or helping you look at the music from a different angle. Read More

I began teaching guitar part-time about 6 years ago as a side job, on top of my then-main gig as a grocery store clerk. Slowly but surely, however, I added more and more students to my roster and was able to phase out the grocery store job, and today I teach guitar full time! There are three main components I look for in a student: passion, potential, and diligence. If a student has the passion for music, the potential to get better, and the diligence to put in the time and work, the sky is the limit! Read More

My Music teaching experience dates back to my Junior High School days, being only 14 years old, as I began teahing other students who played and performed in school, along with me, and also instructed some of their younger siblings. Encouraing regular practice on a consistent daily basis, is one of the key points that I emphasize to all of my students, as it produces student progress and aquisation of essential Musical literature. The most rewarding thing for a teacher is seeing the student progress, does not matter to me if it's perfect! Music takes time and practice and it's very much like a painting. You are not gonna be done in a whole day, you add a little everyday. I only ask my students to set aside 15-30 minutes a day to practice. I am also encouraging to students to learn how to use their practice time effectively. Read More

I have been teaching music for 45 years and by the time I was 9 I already mastered 3 instruments my last teacher could not teach me any longer because I knew more than him as he suggested to find another teacher. I love to teach music I even like to manage bands. When I teach you learn and when you learn that is how I know I did a good job. I also teach students how to write their own music. Read More

It has always been my joy when I see my students later on perform music that they love. Thus, I as a music teacher, would be more than willing to help my students sing and make music at their own level and eventually climbs up the musical ladder. To do this, setting standards and specific and realistic objectives are a must. During the process, regular assessments are done so that students know their accomplishments and feel more comfortable making music. Read More
