Jill has been teaching children and adults for 20 years. I studied voice and piano and performed at various venues. Now, I focus more on teaching piano and voice. We work on technique, performance, note reading, sight reading, and interpretation. We also work on music theory. I first got into music when I was in elementary school. My first instrument was the upright bass fiddler. This help me learn the notes on the bass clef. I later learned to play trumpet which was the instrument that used to audition to get into the Navy Band.
