Developing a good ear is essential when trying to express yourself musically. Piano technique is also essential when trying to execute what you want at the right moment. Ever since I was a child I had wanted to be a teacher. When I got to Central Piedmont Community College I focused on music education because I knew I wanted to teach music theory in college. After transferring to Wingate University I began studying choral music education because I was fascinated byhow the voice works and blends with other voices in a choir situation.
