No two students are exactly alike so I customize the curriculum for each individual student so they can best succeed on the piano. For beginner students, I usually start off with the Faber Piano Adventure series for young students and for adult beginners the Alfred Adult All-in-One Course to teach the basics and fundamentals of piano playing. While most beginning students respond well to the Suzuki method, I also incorporate elements of traditional (namely note-reading) and Dalcroze methods (namely movement, improv, and aural skills) in my teaching. For Pianist, the Suzuki series is quite good, as well as A Dozen A Day and the tried and true Mikrokosmos of Bela Bartok.
