I have discovered all beginning guitar methods are essentially the same, so pretty much any of them will work for a beginner. It is how the individual processes the information! I began my journey teaching in college when I became a tutor for underclassmen and women who desired extra guidance and insight in certain areas, which included music theory, composition, and performance. Since then I have taught in-home, in-studio, and online lessons regularly for over 5 years. Currently, I have upwards of 40 students of varying ages and levels, all very motivated and engaged in music. It is important that students have a foundation and in understanding how to read music. I will begin with a warm ups to develop ear training and pitch.
