I teach each student different. Depending on the students level, pace , knowledge, strength, abilities , determination and goals. All students will have a understanding of scales, rhythm, chords and progressions . Each one of these will breakdown to their own sub-groups. With them expanding as the student progresses . My teaching style is very patient and encouraging and I can tailor my lesson plans to suit each individual student. Although building technique and comfort are extremely important, I find that the most essential aspect of learning an instrument is to study the music that you love, and I'm definitely open to adding a bit of musical theory to every lesson if the student is interested. While I have taught violin lessons since 2010, my most recent passion for teaching occurred when I became an Adjunct Professor of Violin at New York University from 2016-2018. I held this position for two years while I was simultaneously completing my Masters degree, and maintained a studio of 10 students each semester. While at NYU, I taught a variety of students, from complete beginners to advanced violin players.
