If there at level three but haven't touched 16th note triplets and go from there. I set realistic goals and tasks that help focus on other aspects of performing so the student is not focused on their own voice and singing all the time. Both students I've taught have had entirely different goals, one just trying to learn drumset and the other wanting to learn a song for his talent show.
