I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun for the appropriate level(s). In each class we do exercises to improve technique, sightreading, and performance along with music theory exercises. In a second part of the lesson we work on the songs having as main goal the creation of a repertoire that the student can play later to family and friends.
