I usually taught Suzuki for violin, viola and classical guitar (tend to prefer Scott Tennant Pumping Nylon book for classical guitar though). For my students, I tailor my methods based on the specific student's musical goals and their experience. I use a combination of method books and my own original teaching material to emphasize certain topics/skills. Instead of going from one page to the next in a music book, I like to combine multiple books and original practices to keep my students interested. My personal style of teaching come from more than 20 years of experience on it. I will taylor a different plain of study for each student, from absolute beginners to the Advanced level. For early childhood i will use the Orff Shulwerk model of musical education , very funny and easy to learn. We will start to write together our own music after the first lesson! As a student myself of language and accents for the theater, I have an excellent ear and provide diction coaching far beyond the typical set of languages. As a former ESL teacher and tutor in Spain, I also help ESL singers with English. I read and teach IPA (international phonetic alphabet).
