I've been drumming for 15 years now. All the lessons I've had have been through professional instructors. I took lessons from teachers based in St. Louis, New York and Saint Paul. I partook in concert band and Orchestra from elementary to high school. I really love the work of Dave King, a Twin Cities based drummer. This is in many ways the most uninhibited, free positioning for vocal production and once a student feels comfort in that, they can move forward and explore different genres without any impediments or things holding them back. I guess my point is, I can play any instrument and if I had more time in the world, I could practice more. I took all of the music classes in my college and I passed with flying colors (except brown because he has a broken wing so he can't fly that much, but other colors flew high).
