My students have been from all ages and different proficiency levels, which has given me the experience of adapting myself to a variety of the students' learning approaches. For the older students I love to help get them into bands and open jams so they can experience playing live in front of a crowd and with other musicians. I love teaching and playing all styles of music from Jazz, Metal, Rock, Latin, Rap, Reggae, etc. When I'm not teaching I am traveling with various bands around the country and playing on major music festivals. Years later I enrolled in the East Harlem School of Music (Johnny Colon) attending weekly guitar classes and studying Classical guitar privately with Leo Rivera. Years later I enrolled in a Classical guitar program at Julliard. I currently perform with 3 bands playing a variety of genres including Jazz, Gospel, contemporary and RB music and also produce a Time Warner CTV progra, which features guest vocalist and musicians from the New York City area.
