I have been instructing students from kindergarten to high-school all over the Chicago area for the past thirteen years. My highest accomplisment is having a high-school sophomore student playing second chair first violin in Chamber Orchestra and third chair first violin in Symphonic Orchestra at Maine Township, Park Ridge, Illinois. Other accomplishments are having students prepared for Granquist Memorial Music Competition, Geneva Illinois. Since 2015 I am a member of the Northwest Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  Read More

My instruction experience dates back to my time in high school, as I started instructing private lessons part time 11 years ago, and have been regularly teaching in my home studio throughout that time. Creating a consistent practice schedule is one of the ideas I like to emphasize for younger students, as it will be more likely to benefit student development, and help them grow a passion for the instrument. I have a great enjoyment and love for music since a child. Since then from 2015, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in both trumpet performance and jazz studies. I saturated myself to know a great deal and variety of genres in music. In 2016, I toured for a year playing around 10 different states and venues for audiences around the country. I have taught multiple beginning flute and voice students throughout my college career, as well as assisting the music students at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Mukwonago with their head start program. I wish to continue on into graduate school for Music Therapy, and for this reason, I also have experience working with both adolescence and adults that have developmental disabilities. I began teaching when I was still a student at Northwestern University. When I graduated in 1986 with an MM degree I began to pursue it full time which took me to many different middle/high schools in the area. I also taught at Lake Forest College as well as Saint Xavier University. In addition, I have also taught many beginners over the years.
