I started teaching in high school. At Santa Monica High School, we had a huge music program. With 6 orchestras in making up the music program, I was placed in the orchestra made up of the most advanced players. I volunteered my time every week at the request of our orchestra director to giving lessons to students placed in the beginning and intermediate orchestras.
