As a student progresses we typically incorporate Clemeneti sonatinas and the students favorite pop/modern songs. When a student achieves an advanced level of difficulty curriculum is purchased depending on the student's goals, college aspirations, and learning objectives. Pieces of music are normally chosen from a huge selections of violin literature or from Suzuki books. Students show very good progress in a short period of time, and they are very soon able to produce beautiful sounds from their instruments, accurate intonation, strong vibrato, correct rhythm, and great musicality. They develop a positive attitude towards the acquisition of the art of violin playing, and look at the learning process as a fun experience, especially when they are exposed to a new piece of music, whether it is a simple song such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star or  a major composition such as the violin concerto by Beethoven or Wieniawski. I began playing violin, taking private lessons, at the age of four years and trained under the Suzuki method. At age five, I began participating in the National Federation of Music Clubs and received Superior ratings for thirteen consecutive years; in the year 2008, I received the Presidents Festival Cup under the National Federation of Music. I also began performing with the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra (CKYO) at age seven and participated in three European tours with CKYO, serving as their concert master for the Spain and Portugal tour in 2008. Growing up, I would imitate voices from diffrent cultures from cuban music, mexican and other spanish styles. Younger students have typically needed assistance in their beginning band repertoire, while older students are eager to branch off and do solos and chamber ensembles.
