I love music and have studied piano since I was six years old.  I also studied organ and clarinet briefly.  My degrees are in Psychology and Communications.  I worked for state and federal government agencies and was a writer and producer for CNN/Atlanta for ten years.  I enjoy teaching piano and now have six students ranging in age from 4 to 36 years of age.  I also enjoy tennis and am a former law student, but found the latter not to my liking. Always start where the student is, and take them from there. Always encourage and inspire students to be better than yesterday. Progress, no matter the amount, is progress. Take your own pace. If you have a specific deadline, for example a college audition, you will have to commit to practicing more than usual and we will create a plan of action. Also, I do write letters of recommendation.
