There are books for children level, as well as adult books, which may be accompanied by a workbook and a recital book. Depending on the students level, I try to accomplish completing 1-2 pages in the book each lesson. I started teaching private lessons in high school, for free, to other students in the percussion section of both the concert and marching bands. Shortly after starting as a music major at Asbury Univeristy I continued to teach lessons. During my collegiate years I also was involved in taking private lessons and playing for all available percussion-needed ensembles (concert band, jazz band, orchestra, etc.).
