While still in college, I was a music tutor at North Star in Hadley For two years. I worked one-on-one with students in middle school on both voice and guitar. During my time there, I taught kids anything from different chords on the guitar, to breath support and passion in one's singing, to vocal improvisation and stage confidence. My teaching experience began as community outreach & engagement with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's "Crescendo" program. I ran group clarinet lessons and performed in Boston Public Schools. I entered a similar relationship with teaching when I relocated to Chicago in 2016 to play with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Upon my return to Boston, I began teaching privately and joined the faculty of the North End Music & Performing Arts Center where I am a Woodwind Teaching Artist for the Eliot Band Program, as well as teach private lessons.
