I believe patience and versatility are very important, as each student learns a different way. I set goals for each lesson and try to guide the student during the lesson into achieving them. Sometimes the goals are achieved during the lesson, and sometimes while practicing on hteir own time. I tailor my lesson to each student, everyone has a different way of learning and interpreting the crazy world of music. For beginning students we start with the basics, how to hold a pick, how to tune your guitar and basic fretting technique. From there we go into the basic fundamentals of chords and scales.
