I love both teaching and performing voice and piano to all ages. My greatest passion is getting to share my love and lifelong pursuit of music with my students, no matter their level. When I am not teaching, I am often performing as a soprano soloist with prominent groups in Boston and around the country. In addition to active flutist, he has also served as arts administrator in several summer festivals, The Festival Institute at Round Top (2003), Spoleto Festival USA (2004), and Marlboro Music Festival (2005~). Growing up in New Orleans, LA, I have performed with many outstanding musicians in the area including Russell Batiste, Johnny Vidagovich and Ed Petersen. I also had a regular gig performing withsaxophonist Bill Kelsey, formerlyDuke Jordans sideman as well Al Hirt. Notable venues in the New Orleans area include Tipitina's, Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, The Maple Leaf and The Howlin' Wolf. I then went off to junior college where I studied voice, piano performance, and vocal jazz. I had the amazing opportunity to perform Saint Sean's Piano Concerto No. 2 Mvmt III. in g minor with the orchestra. The technique that I teach to my students has helped me sing for hours a day, and has gotten me through the most rigorous performances with no vocal strain or fatigue. I always introduce my students, no matter the age, to the Vaccai Vocal Methods book. This book has many exercises that takes the singer through all of the facets of their voice, and helps them hone their skills. If I find a student is too advanced for the book, we usually jump right into solo repertoire. Read More

Due to my commitment to my new students I was asked to continue as a teacher in one of the major music schools in Armenia (Sayat-Nova Music School). My teaching experience dates back to my undergraduate days. As a French Horn teacher, I teach multiple schools in China. As a piano teacher, I coached elementary and middle school students on basic techniques of playing French horn, like articulations, scales, essential etudes, and orchestral repertoire. I coached elementary students on basic piano skills, like Bayer piano introductory course, Czerny Op. 599, Op. 299, Hanon sixty exercises for the piano, Piano Adventures by Nancy and Randall Faber, John Thompson's Modern Course for the piano and Sonatina album.
