I love both teaching and performing voice and piano to all ages. My greatest passion is getting to share my love and lifelong pursuit of music with my students, no matter their level. When I am not teaching, I am often performing as a soprano soloist with prominent groups in Boston and around the country. In my teaching, I value healthy technique, music literacy (it is a language!), exposing students to diverse repertoire, and ample opportunities for students to play active roles in their creative development in music. Instruments: Piano Voice Music
The technique that I teach to my students has helped me sing for hours a day, and has gotten me through the most rigorous performances with no vocal strain or fatigue. I always introduce my students, no matter the age, to the Vaccai Vocal Methods book. This book has many exercises that takes the singer through all of the facets of their voice, and helps them hone their skills. If I find a student is too advanced for the book, we usually jump right into solo repertoire. Read More

Regardless of my 16 years experience as a performer and 5 years as a teacher I'm longing to continue my journey as a teacher so that I will not miss the opportunity to share my knowledge and discover new talents.
