Teaching has been a regular part of my life since my undergraduate days. At the University of Idaho, I had the opportunity to be a Learning Assistant for freshman music theory, aural skills, and jazz theory; a position that involved more actual teaching than the typical teaching assistantship. Depending on the individual student's technical ability and style of music they wish to learn, I write practice exercises specifically catered to them.
