Although I emphasize ear training and improvisation, I do not neglect sight reading and learning repertoire. My teaching experience dates back to when I was a senior in high school. I would teach local cellists ranging from Elementary School ages to College aged students. Outside of teaching cello, I spend my time as a Choir Director and a Religious Education Teacher. As for other music experience, I've participated in various orchestras, ranging from the New York University Philharmonia to the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra. Instruments: Voice

For every student, beginner or advanced, I talk to them about the style of teaching I provide. I first talk to them about the different segments in the voice: lower "ah" segment, chest segment, chest pull-falsetto segment, pure falsetto segment, and upper "ah" segment. I provide different warm ups that work in each of the segments, helping the voice gradually connect them in time. I will use a variety of materials and my own knowledge to guide the student through the rudiments while making the lesson fun and rewarding.
