For voice I create my own custon lesson plans and use a variety of materials. Students will work on a great variety of repetorie from pop to renaissance. Students are encourgaed to learn to read music, with a great emphasis placed upon practical music theory. I aim to develop intellegent musical artists, foscuing upon intrepretation, critical thinking, historical considerations and creativity. Zac has received a bachelors degree in music education and a masters degree in music performance from Miami University with a focus in percussion. Zac has performed and studied with and learned from several artists such as Dr. William Albin, Pat Schleker, Dr. Christopher Tanner, and Michael LaMattina. Step by step, you will learn so much after using Suzuki method for a while. This method gives you a musical environment, and it can make the cello become your second voice. For all of my piano students, I use Nancy and Randall Faber's Piano Adventures. Students ages 3-5 use the My First Piano Adventure series, which moves at a slightly slower pace and contains more parent/teacher activities. Students ages 6-12 (where most of my students are) use the standard Piano Adventures progression.
