Generally speaking, I use a learner-centered approach, encourage astute questioning, a cooperative stimulation of critical thinking, and I prefer an active versus passive teaching style. After teaching guitar for the University of Tennessee for 10 years, I moved to Nashville where I was able to tour the world playing music for 12 years.
