I am an Egyptian composer based in Los Angeles. I specialize in music composition and sound editing for visual media, including movies, video games, music videos, and other projects. A composer and performer since childhood, I've toured the United States, Europe and the Middle East, singing opera and lending my immense talents as a pianist and violinist. I've sung opera with some of the most famous orchestras and opera houses, such as the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera Dubai,  Cairo Opera House, as well as in one of the biggest opera festivals in Europe: Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland.  After winning a full scholarship to study with famed bass baritone, Tom Kruas, I immigrated to Colorado where I enrolled in Colorado State University at Boulder.  During my time in Colorado I not only studied singing, but also branched out into other avenues of music, studying conducting with the famous Italian conductor, David Creshanzi, and music composition at various other schools. I've composed scores and edited sound for shorts, trailers, commercials and featurettes, and more, including music for Sitter, comedy short, What Future, Sci-fi short Mascatonic, horror sci-fi web series featurette,  Through The Woods,  and others. Among my awards include: “Best Horror Film” at the International Burbank Film Festival for Through the Woods, and “Best soundtrack at” 48 Hour Film Festival at Minnesota State University at Moorhead for Final Transmission.

I approach teaching by focusing on the student. I find out what they need and want first. We set realistic goals together and I give them the tools to help them reach their goals. I don't want my students to be entirely dependent on me. I like to give them exercises to do on their own in between lessons so that time doesn't go to waste and they can see quicker improvement with their own practicing.

I teach private and group music lessons in a variety of settings and for all age levels. As an instructor for Music Together, I was in charge of small group sessions that introduced infant, toddlers and young children to music in an exciting setting that emphasized creativity and exploration. As a private piano, voice, and violin teacher, I strive to give students a solid technical grounding and the ability to play a mix of pop music and classical pieces. I'm always looking to teach new students of all experience levels and ages!

lthough not a Speech Level Singing certified instructor, I have extensive training in SLS. As well as classical techniques such as Bel canto, I have studied modern techniques with the likes of CVT and Robert Lunte of TVS. We will find the areas that hold you back in your singing goals, and we will DEMOLISH them, and every vocal lesson will be recorded onto CD. Piano I am well versed in many of the Pop style Piano including Blues Piano, Funk, Singer-Songwriter, R&B, country, as well as atmospheric or synth playing (EG, playing strings convincingly on a keyboard). I can also teach beginning to lower intermediate Guitar and Bass guitar, teach you not only chord structures and scales, but how to get the most creatively out of your 4 or 6 string beast. We will learn songs and apply the theory involved with each song to better yourself as a musician, while loving the process.
