I won a scholarship to attend Cornell University (1973) where I was admitted to the music department where I studied keyboards, operatic voice, music theory, arranging, orchestral scoring and conducting. While receiving Classical training at the university, I also lead a 12-piece band ... performing jazz and rb around upstate New York and surrounding areas. On the first lesson, I like to help students create realistic, long-term goals for themselves. Then the student and I develop a plan to help them achieve them. Learning tools include method books, recordings of the lesson, and playing along with me. I also make solo pieces available, and encourage the student to participate in local recitals. My lessons generally follow the county public school's music curriculum and include rhythmic and melodic dictation, ear training, sightreading, theory and song form. Read More

My students grow their creative capabilities by exploring music that challenges them to become better musicians. I incorporate music that you want to play such as pop, classical, or music from various cultures while still going over the fundamentals of their instrument. Eichelberger was selected for the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southeast Intercollegiate Honors Band in 2000 and 2002 being the first trombonist selected from the university in almost 10yrs. Mr. Eichelberger is also a former member of the U.S. Marines Basic Musician Enlistment Program where he studied at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Eichelberger also holds a Bachelor of Music in Jaz Studies from Florida Memorial University (2011) and a Masters of Arts in Instrumental Conducting from Morgan State University (2020). Read More

I have been playing piano for 22 years, and graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management Systems and Piano Performance. I also earned a minor in music recording technology. I love playing piano for my church's worship services, and have had an opportunity to serve as an accompianist for a wide variety of musicians.
