I taught my first trombone lessons when I was still in high school, and I've always felt a strong connection to teaching (my parents are teachers too). When I was getting my masters, I began teaching beginning brass classes at local elementary schools, and this expanded into several elementary band classes upon graduation. In 2003 I was awarded a scholarship to continue my studies at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut. I hold a B.A. in Music from the University of Hartford. Istudied Guitar at The Hartt School of Music with Richard Provost, Chamber Guitar Music with Alan Spriestersbach and Christopher Ladd.
