I started playing piano at age 5 and finished a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy from Saint Louis University. My 16 years of classical training helped me attain a teaching position at the Yamaha School of Music in the Philippines and a rewarding teaching career at the Florida Conservatory of Music in Jacksonville, Florida. I believe in encouraging my students and supporting them, having them reach acheviable goals and having them work at a pace that is realistic I believe will develop their understanding and love for music. By combining a students interest with essential fundamentals of music I have found that my previous students have advanced their playing whilst denjoying the experience.
