After graduating from Stetson in 2019, I stayed and taught as a Faculty Teacher at the Community School of Music, having more students. During my tenure, I taught students from four to 85 years old. I first started working with children when I was attending Florida State College. I took a course on elementary education, and did some field work at a local elementary school. It was there that I found out how much I really loved kids. I had a wonderful time in the classroom. I teach all ages all levels, and a wide range of genres, beginning as early as 5 years of age. My oldest student was 87 years old. I have an extensive background in music education and have held various positions as church music director, organist, pianist, directed youth and adult choirs, and have helped home schooled students complete music and arts requirements. Overall, I have been teaching for over 12 years. I have experience teaching chamber ensembles, orchestra, technique classes, and preparing students all over for auditions and state competitions.
