I also incorporate solo repertoire and encourage my students to take part in activities such as the IMEA Solo and Ensemble Competitions. I was a music education major at Roosevelt Univ. and have personal experience teaching all ages from grammar school to entry level college students.I have taught in private studios and traveled to students' homes. I teach various instruments from beginners to various levels of accomplishment and when a student has that bright light moment when something clicks, it's truly a pleasure moment.
