I have been teaching music since 2010. I used to have students back in my hometown up until 2012 when I moved to Boston for my Bachelors. I kept having students during that time during which I also worked as a Core Music Tutor in Berklee College of Music. There, I helped students having difficulties with their basic Music subjects such as Modern Harmony, Ear Training, Tonal Harmony (Classical Harmony), Conducting and Arranging. Read More

I'm a voice and violin teacher who loves teaching music! I especially like working with children. In 2012, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Music. I also studied at Mannes Pre-college in Manhattan, New York from 2003 to 2008. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the best vocalists in the music industry, including the group "Soul for Real." I've also worked with numerous producers of Mary J. Read More

I have also taught at the summer jazz camp program in Prague for the past 5 years. The essence behind my teaching style is constructed from an active gathering of ideas from the worlds of vocal pedagogy, body awareness, movement, emotional awareness, affirming language, and space holding. Developing a plan with the student versus “for” the student is also an essential piece to fostering success and allowing the student to witness their own understanding of the work - placing high emphasis on the journey and viewing snapshots on a timeline to recognize progress. I have performed with several different choirs throughout the past decade. My favorite performance venues include Carnegie Hall, New Jersey Perfoming Arts Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, as well as a tour through Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic. Read More

For beginning students who are children, I typically start with the Suzuki Method and the Sassmannshaus Early Start books. As they grasp the beginning fundamentals, I incorporate the Alfred "My First Theory Book" series. As the students advance, we begin using Martin's "I Can Read Music," Rick Mooney's "Position Pieces for Cello" and "Fun in Thumb Position." For adults, I also use the Suzuki method, as well as the Rick Mooney books. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone
For younger students/beginners, I am a huge advocate of the Rubank Elementary Method for Saxophone, since it covers a lot of the basic materials such as note values, scales, and arpeggios. For students who have progressed past this stage, I introduce "The Art of Saxophone Playing" by Larry Teal which introduces some more advanced rhythmic and articulation concepts. For saxophone students of all levels I strongly recommend Sigurd Rascher's "Top Tones for Saxophone" because it develops a students understanding of how to develop a strong sound and knowledge of the overtone series.
