I am a dedicated and passionate instructor who loves watching students improve and succeed. In 2015, I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. I attended Wright State University to earn my Master of Music degree in Flute Performance and worked as a graduate teaching assistant during my time there. I graduated from Wright State in 2017. Through the my Master's degree at CCM I kept a small private studio of piano and voice students. I am now up to 26 students and work full time teaching and performing. I like to create very clear imagery that builds over time. The voice is not something we can see or touch, so I often joke that singing is about learning Jedi mind tricks that help us achieve a healthy technique. I like to incorporate theory/musicianship and some piano into my lessons to create a well rounded understanding of singing as a musician.
