My ultimate goal in teaching music students is to develop players who are intrinsically motivated. This is a long-term process which I enjoy guiding. I'm very interested in the psychology of motivation for each individual student, realizing that what "works" with one student may not be effective with another. I have gone through a four year degree program in which I've had the opportunity to gain peer teaching experience as well as teaching within various school districts for individual, small, and large ensemble settings.
