Instruments: Piano

For many years, twenty-five to be exact, I have been teaching and motivating children and adults. My goal is to expose them to all types of music. As a member of the New England Piano Teachers's Association, I have the good fortune of being able to enter my students in recitals and competitions. Adults can participate as well. Students with learning disabilities are always challenging, but I have had much success with them. Read More

Instruments: Voice

I prepare students for auditions, (I saw some of them winning music competitions), I teach them breathe management, healthy vocal technique, how to efficiently practice and learn songs, stage presence and performance skills. For the ones who aspire in pursuing a professional career in the music field, I teach contemporary harmony, ear training, songwriting and music business, since I also completed a Master in Music Business at the Catholic University of Milan, and worked at major label EMI Music Italy. Melody (lead) playing is not essential, but encouraged, as I believe it is a viable and gratifying skill. Supplemental books are helpful and encouraged, but not required, as is music theory and sight reading (standard notation). Instruments: Piano Music

I am a big fan of planned practicing and it is especially important with younger students. I find that when students follow my exact practice instructions they play their pieces successfully! And nothing is more rewarding as a teacher than to see the end results of a student's hard work and to see them develop a love for music throughout the journey! I always set realistic goals so practicing never feels tedious or overwhelming. Read More

Instruments: Piano Music

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 24years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 11years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the piano and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

Instruments: Piano Accordion Music Keyboard

I'm a pianist, accordionist, arranger, and composer. I find a lot of joy in learning and understanding music. The styles I specialize in on piano are ragtime and early jazz, and Latin and French music on the accordion. Although this is my specialty, it certainly isn't the limits of what I am able to teach. I perform as the accordionist for a Manouche Jazz band named Heliotrope Swing, we play around Boston and really thrive on the joy that people find in our music. Read More
