My teaching experience began in my early years of college, as I began teaching private lessons part time two years ago, and have been consistently teaching students online and in person since then. I view music lessons as a vital part of a student's all-around education. Music is to be learned just like a language, we have to understand what we are doing in order to actually do it! I am a passionate flutist that loves teaching flute privately in addition to performing. In May of 2022, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Hartt School of Music with a BM in Flute Performance. While I was there, I studied with Janet Arms, flutist of New York City Opera. I have also extensively studied with Dr. Barbara Hopkins, Assistant Principal of The Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
