Many teachers (especially for guitar/ukulele) simply play along with students to pre-recorded songs or songs that the student picks. I graduated from Emporia State University in May 2023 with my Master of Music degree in Flute Performance. Memorization of key signatures and scales are very important to the student's overall success. I utilize a method for memorizing key signatures which will decrease the memorization time and increaseretention.
