Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. For older students, I begin them in the Trvor Wye Method for Beginning Flute Students. I supplement both these methods with solos appropriate for their level and goals, such as UIL and other competitions.
