2011-12-Conducted a 45 minute full orchestra rehearsal with the Fort Worth Symphony
Being a veteran teacher of over four decades I have enjoyed watching my students grow from barely being able to hold a musical instrument to outstanding musicians. As a teacher I make sure that my students learn music fundamentals as well as understand musicianship. Above all, I want my students to love music. I have taught as a music educator in the classroom in five different high school Even though all of them became solid programs each came with a different set of problems. From very affluent to very poor. The thing I found very quickly in my career is all students want to learn and want to love music. However, I had to adapt to each student. No student learns the same as others. I have been able to customize instruction to meet the personality of each student as well as the ability level.
For young beginners, I make use the method book that is being used at their school as well as supplying materials specifically for their instrument. As the student progresses, he/she will be introduced to solo repertoire as well advance method books for recital and competitive purposes. The objective is keep the student challenged but at the same time making sure the lessons are enjoyable. For intermediate and advanced students, I use the school curriculum at the school they happen to attend to meet the requirements of the music program. Requirements may include learning 12 majors scales and chromatic (full range). Coaching from an Etude Book has become essential for competitions and performanances.
Since most of the students I teach are members of a band program, I make sure that most of my lessons are based on what is being learned at school. Planning an individual practice schedule is imperative for their success but at the same time make it enjoyable so the student will want to practice. Constant acknowledgement of their progress each lesson the student more eager to learn. Even though the school program may require students to learn from specific material, I also tailor instruction to music they enjoy performing.
Very good. My daughter's skill has improved by leap and bounce.
Rosendo is exactly the kind of teacher my child needs. He's patient and takes the time to explain things until they are understood. He is also very focused and keeps my child on point. I highly recommend Rosendo S.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
OkAre you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
