I have worked with students in a variety of settings, from one on one private lessons, small group sessions, to flute sectional coaching. I like using flashcards, so students can quickly develop their site-reading. I use different techniques that meet the individual capacity of the students and adults. For intermediate and advanced students I prefer scales, etudes (exercises), sonatas, concertos and solo pieces of their preference. I like to play duets with my students and that is usually their favorite part as we can combine talents to play something beautiful. I realized immediately that I had a passion for connecting people to their passion for music and wanted to continue doing that.
