I realized that I loved helping others learn and I began teaching at local music stores and schools a few years ago. I strongly feel that learning is best done in a fun, supportive environment. For me teaching is incredibly rewarding. It brings me great pride to see my students grow and as musicians and reach their personal goals. For each student I like to set specific, small weekly and lesson goals as well as broader long term goals, with the intention that each small goal will bring us closer to the large one.
