I am a very patient and enthusiastic instructor who loves working with students just being introduced to the instrument, or already passionate about it. I recently graduated from Montgomery College, where I studied Jazz and a touch of orchestral percussion. I've been playing in bands since I was about 13, and have now played over 200 shows as well as toured most of the eastern half of the US. As far as books go, I prefer the Hal Leonard method, especially for beginner musicians. I combine visual, audio and kinesthetic learning methods to tailor to anyone's needs.
